How SalutApp protects family health information and keeps sensitive data behind secure access.
This policy explains how SalutApp collects, uses, stores and protects personal information and sensitive health-related information when you use the application, request a demo or contact us.
SalutApp collects information you provide directly and information that is technically necessary to operate, secure and improve the service.
This may include account information, family profile details, health events, appointments, attachments, support communications and security logs.
Sensitive health data may include visits, vaccinations, illness notes, allergies, accidents, disorders, symptoms, documents, reports and attachments that you choose to record.
SalutApp processes data to operate the service, organize family health information, provide reminders, support demo environments, secure the application and respond to support requests.
SalutApp does not sell personal information or sensitive health data and does not share family health content with advertising platforms.
Trusted providers may process limited data only when needed to operate or secure the service and under appropriate safeguards.
SalutApp does not use family health information for advertising, data sales, sponsored recommendations, commercial profiling, third-party analytics products or commercial AI training.
This commitment is part of the service design: the health space belongs to the user and their family, not to advertisers, data brokers, insurers or commercial platforms.
Account data is kept while the account remains active and while it is needed to provide the service. Recoverable backups are available only for active accounts; before requesting deletion, the user must retrieve any copy they wish to keep.
The account-closing timestamp marks the end of the service contract. Within a maximum of 24 hours, SalutApp permanently and irreversibly deletes health data, family profiles, events, documents, attachments, backups and account-associated technical, security and support records. Once deletion is complete, the data cannot be recovered by either the user or SalutApp. The user receives a confirmation.
While the service is active, SalutApp retains only the technical, security and support records strictly needed to verify the operation of the service, resolve incidents, and improve the service and user experience. These account-associated records are deleted when the account is closed.
Billing data, payments, invoices and accounting records that Swiss law requires to be retained are kept only for the applicable statutory period. They do not include the account’s health content, documents or attachments.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability or withdraw consent.
SalutApp applies technical and organizational measures such as encrypted transport, role-based access, two-factor authentication availability, restricted access and operational monitoring.
SalutApp may contain information about children, dependents or family members when entered by an authorized account holder.
